Guitar Lessons 

For the past four years, I have been teaching guitar to all ages and levels. I have a Bachelor of Applied Music and teach a range of styles. I currently teach at Sarah McLachlan School of Music, Deep Cove Music, Saint James Music Academy, and operate a private studio in East Vancouver. I offer in-person and online lessons. Please contact nathanrossturner@gmail.com to book a lesson. Lessons are $60/hr or $35/half hour. A half-hour is recommended for younger students and beginners. Lessons are structured with a review of the previous week, playthroughs/jamming, followed by new material for the following week. Repertoire and materials are structured around the interests of each student.

Recording and Production

Whether you are looking to create your first album or your first demo I can help you get there. I have recorded, mixed, and produced dozens of projects over the last 10 years. Rates vary depending on the size and scope of the project. I have a small studio that is suitable for overdubs and demos. Workshops

Whether its a week-long songwriting intensive, busking with Youth on the street or an hour of improvising on the guitar I've led and designed various workshops in collaboration with The City of North Vancouver, North Van Arts, Art Starts, Whytecliff Agile Learning Centre, and Art Wells Festival. Over the summer of 2023, I had the honor of mentoring nine youths. I coordinated and designed a program involving songwriting, collaboration, busking and workshops led by professional musicans. You can view the youth's final performance below!
